We are so fortunate to be present for so many amazing life moments. Beyond the wonderful celebration this is the beginning of a new chapter in our couples own family history. The following clip celebrates this new life and love and one day it is our hope that as time goes on, future generations will have this film forever.

What a surprise to open up the July/August issue of Catersource Magazine and see my grinning face next to one of the articles! The article sums up the findings of a 2010 study done by the National Association of Catering Executives about the number of weddings taking place over the last couple of years. They concluded that about 76% more weddings have been taking place in 2010 as opposed to 2009, a great sign of the improving economy. As a board member for NACE, I’ve been introduced to so many opportunities and have met so many great people. It is a resource for event professionals to stay up to date on growing trends in the industry. I’m proud to see such a great organization get recognized and even more flattered that they used me in their ad!
This year at the Annual Great Chefs Event, chefs and patrons from around America joined together to benefit Alex’s Lemonade Stand. All funds from the day went towards a great cause- the fight against childhood cancer.
We spent the day capturing (and indulging in!) all the wonderful food, wine, and beer donated by the collection of award-winning chefs, including chef Tom Colicchio. Over 1000 people came out to support the foundation and helped raise more than $500,000! There were some amazing guest speakers, including the creators of the foundation, Alex’s parents. My friend, Philip Gabriel, and I worked for a good cause at the SPCA’s 99th anniversary celebration. It was a beautiful day and so many people came out! Speakers included President of the Humane Society, Wayne Pacelle. The event was great and we had a lot of fun. It makes you wonder what they’ll do for they’re 100 year anniversary next year! We were so happy to help the Delaware County SPCA celebrate its 99th anniversary this year at the Garrett Williamson Foundation. So many people in the community came out to support a great cause. Drexelbrook Catering supplied food for the event that turned out to be a major success.
The attendees included animal advocate Heidi Hamels, Humane Society of the U.S. president Wayne Pacelle, various business people and politicians, and of course some animal friends!
Our friends at Philip Gabriel Photography also lent their time to the event, snapping these great pictures. All the money that was raised through the celebration benefited the animals available for adoption in the Delaware County SPCA. You can also help out by donating to the SPCA in your area by going online to their website.
Sue and Dave’s wedding at Temple Beth El was a beautiful ceremony attended by so many of their friends and family. The bride and groom’s parents walked them each down the aisle to begin the rest of their lives with their new loved one. You could feel all the love in the room and in the speeches that their guests gave. After the wedding, our friend Cliff Mautner took pictures of the couple with the beautiful fall foliage, where they looked beautiful and happy. The wedding guests went onto the reception where Janis Nolan Entertainment provided some great live music to dance to. We wish the couple our best and hope the rest of their lives together are as special as their wedding day.

The beautiful bride, Krista, got ready the morning of her wedding day with her mother, who also wore white. Around her bouquet she held a picture of her father and her, reminding her of the family who couldn’t be there. Cliff Mautner took the couple to the waterfront to take beautiful photos they can keep and share forever. After both the Christian and Jewish ceremonies, Krista and Matthew went with the wedding guests to The Ritz Carlton where Chico’s Vibe played music to get everybody dancing. With help from I Do Wedding Consulting, the wedding became a unique representation of this lovely couple. Check out the video to see it!

As Lauren got ready at the Four Seasons Hotel, she gazed out her window at Sts. Peter and Paul Cathedral where she would wed her finance Luke. After the beautiful ceremony, their classic black and white wedding party rode a trolley to The Union League of Philadelphia. Once there, The Vincent James Band surrounded the guests with music as everyone celebrated love. The couple Lauren and Luke will remember this day forever not only by the remarkable photos taken by Jeff Reeder Photography, but by the beauty of the wedding itself. Congratulations Lauren & Luke! As the snow fell down around them, the newlyweds melted guests’ hearts with their love. Friends and family congratulated Bridgit and David on finding their perfect match and wished them well. Everyone, including the bride, put on their snow boots as Baiada Photography snapped pictures of the couple out in the elements. Braving the snowstorm, the party moved inside to The Union League of Philadelphia where guests danced and even joined in to play with the band provided by Eddie Bruce Entertainment. Mari and Meiklejohn began the first day of the rest of their lives together at St. Peter and Paul Cathedral in Philadelphia. After the ceremony, the newlyweds and their guests went on to celebrate in style at Hyatt at the Bellevue, which served as a romantic backdrop for the evening. EBE Entertainment lent their musical talent to the event and kept the guests dancing. The night will be remembered fondly through the photography of our good friend, Cliff Mautner.
